64dimes
Multi-category luxury e-commerce platform
The Problem
Selling luxury goods online is different from selling commodities. Customers need to feel trust before spending thousands on a watch or a piece of jewellery they can't try on. The product photography, brand presentation, and checkout experience all need to convey premium quality.
What We Built
64dimes was a multi-category luxury e-commerce platform with:
- Four product categories — eyewear (luxury brands), watches, ethnic jewellery, and apparel — each with category-specific filtering and display logic
- Luxury presentation — full-screen product photography, zoom-on-hover, 360-degree views for key items, and curated collection pages
- Inventory management — multi-variant products (size, colour, material), stock tracking per variant, and low-stock alerts
- Checkout — Stripe integration with support for high-value transactions, guest checkout, and saved payment methods
- Search and filtering — faceted search by brand, price range, category, material, and availability
What This Proves
E-commerce seems standard until you're selling a $5,000 watch. The trust signals, the photography requirements, the checkout flow — every detail matters more at high price points. We built for that.
64dimes was archived. Building luxury e-commerce taught us that trust signals, photography, and checkout psychology matter more at high price points than feature count. Every detail earns or loses the sale.
